Please read carefully as our policy has been updated. Orders for packages and nucs may be returned and refunded for the full amount until March 31st.
Because packages and nucs must be installed into proper equipment within a few days of the scheduled pick up day, we will no longer have bees available this year. Therefore, store credit will be issued for all cancelled orders after April 1st and for anyone who does not pick up their bees on pick up day.
We do our best to keep customers updated as to the arrival of bees at our Chatsworth location. However, typically we do not know the exact arrival date until a few weeks beforehand. Bees must be removed from their packages and installed into a hive within a few days of arriving in Chatsworth. Do not order a package unless you have the flexibility to pick up your bees within the time constraints set forth by The Valley Hive. Bees cannot be held after the pick-up date. All unclaimed packages will be installed into hives.
It is imperative that you provide accurate contact information so that we can communicate with you regarding your order. As soon as an arrival date is known, we will send out an email with important pick-up details. Make sure to respond, so that we know you have received the information. Every attempt will be made to contact you about the bees; however, it is incumbent upon you to pick up the bees at the appointed time stated by The Valley Hive.
