Your satisfaction is very important to us. We take great care in providing quality products. If, within 60 days, you are not completely happy with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly exchange or refund your order (minus return shipping costs). The Valley Hive is not responsible for damage that occurs during return shipping. Package your items carefully. A refund will be issued upon receipt of your item(s).
Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 7 days. We will need photos of the packaging, shipping label, and damaged products, in order to submit your claim to our shipper. After you provide the images, we can process the exchange and a new product will be sent to you at no cost. After 7 days, shipping charges will be assessed. If an item is missing from your order, please call Customer Service right away. We will send your missing item promptly at no extra charge.
We are doing our very best to adhere to the local current COVID guidelines set forth for the city & county of Los Angeles. All of our staff has been fully vaccinated. Since we will be working in small groups, in close proximity to one another, we can only accommodate vaccinated people at this time. As soon as conditions change, we will update these guidelines.
Bees are for pick up only. We do not ship bees. We hope that you understand, bees are live animals and are provided “as is” without any warranties. We cannot issue refunds once the bees have left our property.
Orders for packages and nucs may be returned and refunded for the full amount until March 31, 2022.
A store credit will be issued for all cancelled orders received after April 1st. We cannot accept cancellations the day before the scheduled pick up day. If bees are not picked up on the scheduled day, your funds will be forfeited.
Bee pick up is in April at The Valley Hive in Chatsworth. As soon as have an exact day, we will communicate via email with pick up dates and times. We do our best to keep customers updated as to the arrival date. However, typically we do not know the exact date until a few weeks beforehand. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the arrival date of bees may change.
It is imperative that you provide accurate contact information so that we can communicate with you regarding your order. As soon as an arrival date is known, we will send out an email with important pick-up details. Make sure to respond, so that we know you have received the information. Every attempt will be made to contact you about the bees; however, it is incumbent upon you to pick up the bees at the appointed time stated by The Valley Hive.
